Substrate Cleaning

In order to slightly etch the surface or to completly remove any organic residuals piranha solution can be used. This short handout describes how to prepare and use the piranha solution for sillicon wafer cleaning.

Choice of basis and functional

ORCA ESD module offers possibility to easily model optoelectronic properties of molecular systems. However, the calculations are computationally expensive. Analysed here simple and satisfactory DFT method for such calculations using benzene.
